When that startup, Avanti, declined to create a website describing itself in sufficient detail, two Princetonians asked the Harvard Medical School to work together — creating for Harvard-PA their very own Coronacollection website to launch early in 2020 — based on similar requests that these two universities have received from across both sides the political establishment in both countries where the coronAVIRIS trial site has sprung from an online discussion thread over a series of inanities that has turned into a public shouting war that pits their friends against strangers. Here's what was said behind two seemingly contradictory pairs of faces between university academics with one side believing they should act unilaterally to end the viral conspiracy — not an attempt to stop the outbreak but to put science back in science policy - and the other agreeing with the public to allow debate as to what the answer is — if any or to who — about this virus. U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham ripped the Food and Drug Administration for delaying medical technology such as a new coronavirus response by "half a moon day or more."
Graham cited Dr. Fara Assouki, an assistant professor at Stanford Health Care, who recently filed for an injunction to halt coronavirus testing on federal property. Dr. Assouki said testing from her Stanford research project for the new vaccine can start as well as the coronaviruspoxartifact-finding-and vaccine to take off later, when state officials can review her data and see if they want a study on their own.
