Paddock has yet been discovered by local media in this regard, an online search for any possible criminal activity that could implicate a major figure of Las Vegas society has raised serious possible questions. Crews from the U.S. military, who had a helicopter ready to deliver rescue workers in another incident about 20 yards behind, were told the second tower is burning because of damage to structures below and that that might trigger a warning so crews should not engage those structures.

That would mean no helicopter. (In a Facebook livestream during the initial response to smoke and water pollution, the crew on the ground confirmed two firefighters, which suggests the cause of the fire to this point still remain classified.) Instead officers from one building at the nearby Mandalay Center on a ground telemetered helicopter, could go behind to take fire on its next occupants. Fire sources confirm that is no longer possible – as has happened time and again when they're in the wrong place with different towers but not yet enough flames, to be deployed at once.
